Android Issues I've Encountered
This is gonna be a comprehensive paragraph of any and all issues I have encountered on the ANDROID VERSION of Discord.
So let's start off simple:
> overall performance
the app is god awfully slow. It takes forever for it to open (despite claiming you've shortened the time it takes), and switching servers can take a bit depending on if it's a good day or not.
Voice chats aren't any better. In fact, turns out when in a voice chat discord will take up 90 percent of my memory, which contributes to it being slower.
> Common bugs and glitches
Where to start. First off, when scrolling the app will sometimes just open the side panels instead (where the channel and members list are.) They aren't meant to open, and it makes going through messages a bit of a pain.
Opening other servers sometimes won't load that servers content. Instead, it'll have content from the previous server open. This happens switching from server to dm too.
Sometimes you don't have the option to cancel replies. For some reason, the tab that'll pop up when you press the reply button may just not appear, so if you didn't want to reply you'd have to restart the app for it to properly cancel the command.
Reactions are hard to do, you have to manually scroll through since clicking on server icons will just put a random reaction instead
images sometimes just won't load. And this goes for videos, emojis, etc
> suggestions
less complaining, I've subsided now. Please, for the sake of all your Android users, pay more attention to the bugs.
I know pushing out new features is key to keeping people entertained with the app, but everything you add seems to make the app worse lately. I've personally had to disable updates, as every new update made it harder to use this app.
