Please patch Streamer mode so it will never hide Display name, even if it matches @username.
So Discord has been rolling out a new username system. We've been asked to change to a new, unique username. And there is something that this can really mess with if you are a streamer.
Now, whenever you have Discord and a streaming software open at the same time, Discord goes into Streamer Mode, which hides all sensitive info from view. It's basically a dummy-proofed "don't doxx yourself by accident" feature.
In this example, Barry claimed the Discord username "Barry". And his display name is the same as his username: "Barry".

Here's the messed-up part: If your display name is the same as your username, Streamer Mode censors your name. Your name shows as "B..." This applies in-Discord, in Discord overlays on Twitch, including anyone else's stream. It's absurd.
The idea used to be (back during the days of username#1847) that Discord doesn't want you to doxx yourself by revealing your username. But that makes no sense in this case.
Now to clarify, I don't want to turn Streamer Mode off. I DO want Streamer mode to hide my personal information. My DISPLAY NAME should not count as personal information.
I get that "username#1847" is sensitive information and was hidden. But a Display name like @Barry is not. The entire POINT of a display name is that it is how I've CHOSEN to voluntarily display my name publicly. That should not be considered sensitive info and hidden by streamer mode, that's stupid.
Devs:
Please change that part of how Streamer Mode behaves in a future update. Specifically, a patch to Streamer mode so it will never hide Display name, even if it matches @username.
