Discord Permanent Invites
Please bring permenant invites back to non-community discords. It is extremely annoying now to try and establish any community without becoming “public”. If there were issues with it being spammed or abuse or such then simply only allow admin ranked users or people with specific perms to use/create them. This not only locks off many older discord that arent communities (things such as game mods, small groups, and so on), but makes attempting to “recruit” from discords for games such as Arma, Squad, or anything else nearly impossible as you cannot have a consistent link.

Why does anyone continue, day after day, to put up with whatever new flavor of BS Discord is going to try cramming down everybody's throat? A lot of their other “updates” have at least had justification, however skeevy, but this is actively counterproductive for literally the overwhelming majority of server owners you've outlined above- small communities with no desire to go public and deal with that disaster, but find it handy or just appealing to have a static lifeline to their homebase without having to go through the whole process and maybe even ask somebody to do it for you every time.
Discord is increasingly indefensible and hostile to the people who keep it alive. Thankfully, there are other platforms like Revolt (https://revolt.chat/) that still care about user feedback… and have no issues allowing server owners to configure their invites however the hell they please.
