Account hacked
At the end of July I recieved a link from a friends account (which was also hacked but i found out to late). After I opened the link i found myself logged out of all my accounts (2 gmail, 2 Discord, Steam, Instagram etc). I tried to log back in but it wouldn't work, so i started resetting all my passwords Thankfully i had the backup code for my Gmail and Steam. Recovering my Instagram wasn't difficult either. But when i tried to reset my discord password the account that showed up in the reset password email sent by discord was incorrect. So i quickly tried to recover my other discord account as well but this account was asking for a 2FA which i never setup. I submitted 2 tickets to discord from both emails associated with the compromised accounts and was able to recover my second account (lets call it my alt) within 12hrs. However, its been over a month now and Discord has still not recovered my first account (lets call it my main). I am writing this post so that maybe just maybe someone from discord support looks at this post and can help me out with this issue.

I had something like this happen about a week ago but not the way it happened to you its been 9 days since ive made the ticket and I've only gotten one response from them and I provided more then enough detail and proof that I own that account I've made another ticket yesterday and not even 1 day later it was closed and marked as “solved” so I clicked “create follow up” and the same thing happened it got closed in less then a day then I go look at the original ticket and on the resent activity it says “x minutes ago” ("x" is a number between 1-oo) and I last made a comment/reply an hour ago but they did nothing there so they must have just looked at it and was like IDC… I should have gotten a response or something when they look at it or look into it to get some kind of update

The Suggestion i can give you is try checking up on your tickets everyday and make sure your accounts issue is in the correct subject i.e hacked account goes in hacked account tickets etc. As long as your account its still connected with your gmail the process should be very quick. Otherwise you will have to check up on your ticket frequently.

It is not connected to my Gmail anymore I think it is on my phone though, I've still provided more then enough info like back up codes, DOB, Phone number, F2A codes, Transaction IDs, Old ticket IDs, and Old Emails that I've tried. No response for 8 days just being looked at. Now my whole account is changed to a bait account to get more peoples info for steam and what ever else they want. So now my account is at high risk for being banned/deleted. They changed my username , My bio, Left all my servers I was in, and unfriending all my friends along with deleting all the servers that I have owned. I've probably annoyed them so much since I've been messaging daily more then once a day trying to get a word out of them.

Ok, do the following:
1. Go to discord
2. Login with email and password (you will get an error message stating your password or email is incorrect) if your number is connect to your account try signing it with that
3. If you are signing in with your number press the forget button and verify that number.
4. you will be asked to enter a new password.
5. entry the backup code after you enter the new password.
6. If your number was still connected you will be allowed to enter your account otherwise do the same thing but with your gmail.

I have the same issue, my friend got hacked and the hacker used that account to hack mine too (this happened 20 days ago approx.). I didn't expect to fully recover my account, but the thing that makes me upset the most is that the 2 tickets i sent to them, i didn't even get a SINGLE response. NOT-A-SINGLE-ONE.
I use discord for YEARS and i never needed their support until this happened. This is very disappointing, seriously.1 -
Like who isn't dissappointed, I think its time to switch over to a new platform.

I've been waiting 35 days for a response from Discord. The hacker changed my email, set my email address to a new account, and put 2FA on the new account. Make sure you all reset your operating systems, if you downloaded something, the malware runs in the background and the steals passwords from your browsers. Only way to be safe is to start fresh.
