New Discord Mobile Update

I am not a big fan of the new discord mobile update that's being tested out right now. Despite being in the DM with the person I am talking to, the discord notification message banner pop up appears despite me literally being in the DM with that person. Additionally, it also makes the “1 new message” blue banner appear despite being in the DM with that person. A popup every single time I get a message from the person I'm currently talking to makes no sense.

Additionally, I have had issues with voice messages that never happened until after this update. I sent voice messages to the DM, but multiple times they did not send. Instead, I only discovered after that the voice messages were sent to a server channel I was in previously before being in the DM.

I have also not been able to find the opt out option on both mobile and discord which has been frustrating. The option that was described on the update webpage is just not there. My overall thoughts on the update are not very positive. I don't particularly like the way it looks, and the issues I had only made my user experience increasingly negative.
