Feedback on new Mobile UI

I have been using the newest UI since I was forced to use it. I want to give my feedback on it.

So far, it has been a horrible experience, here are my points about it (i am using android):

Visibility: 

• We can no longer see new DMs while in a server chat. The notification dot no longer shows in the hamburger menu icon. We are only aware of new DMs once we open the hamburger menu. Before, we can see the notification dot at the top and were made aware right away.

Accessibility: 

• There are now too many actions needed to navigate. In order to go from a DM to a server, we have to use the back button (or swipe right) then press the server icon at the bottom, then you can finally choose the server you want. Before, we would only need to swipe right, and we can see all the servers available.
• trying to click on a chat feels like it doesn't work most of the times. I have to press it multiple times.

Misc (things i didn't know how to categorize)

• While in a chat, swiping left no longer takes me to the channel details and member list. It now is a quick way to reply. I don't like this since replying wasn't a feature i wanted to do faster. I just want to see the member list faster instead.
• The mobile colors are darker than they were, it makes it too dark and I can't see as well. It doesn't at all match the colors on desktop discord.
• Overall, it seems slower

TL;DR I think the new changes are not good. They seem to work against the user rather than with. Maybe some new icons and buttons are good to have, but the way the UI works is unsatisfactory.
