New update is inaccessible

The new mobile update is so hard to use. Visually, it's super cluttered and hard to navigate. Switching entirely between tabs every time you want to see the channel list, switch channels, check the members of a server, etc is clunky and difficulty. It looks overwhelming and is way harder to process.

It's also hard with motor control issues, as there's way more swiping and precise clicking, and it's incredibly easy to accidentally swipe out of a channel, into a reply, or accidentally create a thread if you misclick.

Not to mention how hard it is on members with memory issues. No indication for which channel you're currently in if you go to the channels tab, the members tab being so out of the way (which also makes moderation harder), everything being so much more separated, the entire lack of cohesiveness with the desktop app… All of this combined makes it so much harder to use, and I can imagine there's more issues I didn't even get the chance to pick up on (I can't begin to think of how hard it must be on screenreaders).

Incredibly disappointing to see such a big change with so little consideration for accessibility.

    I agree. I have visual processing issues which makes it so that it could take months for my brain to learn layouts of anything and can get overwhelmed with visual clutter. This new layout ticks all the wrong boxes and I can't even use my phone for discord because it just hurts my head.

    I have gone to using the web browser version on mobile because it is more useable than the app because of this
