Discord layout Update trash

Man… this update really just hit me in the head completely. Discord done messed up the whole mobile layout for what now??? I don’t understand what they meant by wanting to have a unique app anymore because this looks like Instagram dms. Pretty sure other people can agree with me too this update is terrible, I wish there was a way to remove it completely. Now, i’ve read some posts and saw “at least have a button where you can enable and disable the new layout” as that would be great too but why does this new ugly update exist in the first place? Why would someone want to look on Discord after already looking at the older layout for AGES now and see how laggy and confusing it looks? My biggest question is how people are coping with this because I just got this update a few hours ago and I knew I wasn’t going to like it just by looking at the messages tab. Whatever this tomfoolery is remove it! Nobody likes it and if you do you’re crazy! Or maybe this is your first time being on Discord but still. I want this layout off my phone I think my brain just exploded trying to navigate through the whole app. ☠️ (sorry if theres any spelling mistakes i was rushing)

    I have gone to using the web browser version on mobile because it is more useable than the app because of this

    I am spreading this news to as many friends and communities as I can, and linking them here so Discord hears us. I am also using mobile in web now instead, and I've canceled my Nitro until this is fixed. Also, I am sorting by votes and upvoting the complaints here and downvoting other features as reverting this is a #1 priority. If we want to be heard we must build a collective voice and collectively say No.
