A number of things are less convenient with the new UI

Hiding the active server members on a sub menu makes it significantly less convenient to tell if someone is online before sending a message. Hiding the private message search function under tapping the users profile is counterintuitive considering the placement of search/pin in other channels. Splitting servers from DMs is a needless layer of separation. I've noticed all this within minutes of using the new UI, and I'm confident I'm going to find more quirks. I fully understand significant development resources were likely spent on this new UI, but quite honestly any changes to the UI should not make things less convenient for the user. If at minimum the new UI is not tweaked to restore the previous ease of use, I don't think I can justify my Nitro subscription

Edit* Just realized search no longer works across all channels in a server, meaning you need to individually search each channel for the message you want. Yet another change which negatively impacts user convenience

    i literally noticed all of these in seconds. i use this mobile app constantly and trying to send a single message to a group chat caused me to run into at least 10 different issues. nothing about this is intuitive and the fact that it looks completely distinct from the desktop version only worsens things. you can't even guess where they may have moved stuff because it looks like a completely different app now

    I have gone to using the web browser version on mobile because it is more useable than the app because of this
