Mobile Layout Changes
I have been a supporter and used of Discord for many years now. As someone who has trouble with using more complex UI for a multitude of reasons, I always appreciated Discord for it's ease of use. A huge part of what made Discord easy for me was the similarities between Mobile and PC. Now, that sense of familiarity and brand recognition are entirely gone.
I have never seen a single person complaining about the Discord UI, until it was changed. Very little, if any people enjoy this change to the UI. The old UI was intuitive and easy to understand, while this new one is clunky and doesn't show as much information as it should (see: used to). Going to a different screen from servers to get to DMs is entirely unnecessary and makes it harder to notice when you have gotten a message.
The change to the dark mode grey is also one I am unhappy with. The specific color used for dark mode is something I would consider to be iconic for Discord's brand. This is also an unnecessary change that makes it hard for the app to be readable, as such recognizability helps with the usage of the app.
In all, I and many other users would like for the Discord UI to return to what it previously was. Or, at the very least, let us choose which UI we would like to use within settings.

In addition, the update includes broken buttons, and I have had my app crash 3 times in the span of 10 minutes while trying to navigate to even find the option to log in here. I ended up having to log in on my computer instead because the mobile version was just useful enough to prevent me from doing it on my phone for feedback.
I 100% agree that we should be given a choice to go back to the old ui. This new one is absolutely ridiculous.11
