New UI is not user friendly

Don't fix what isn't broken.

I appreciate that the devs are always looking to improve but this is NOT an improvement.

As as been echoed by so many people at this point - swipe to reply is bad. It was bad the last time you tried to implement it and it's bad this time too.

Swipe to see members is way more important for moderating. I also hate accidentally getting into reply mode because of bad design.

The DMs need to be back at the top left where they were along with profile. There are too many taps to get to where I want to be and the swipe inefficiency swipe left and opening the launch pad is also annoying. I just want to go back to the chat window from the channels panel.

Please put it back. This design is not it.

I agree. The New UI puts such a strain on both visibility and usability now. Changing the icons on PC is also confusing and pointless.

I'm sick and tired of everyone smoothing out edges and trying to go for this “modern” look that has no appeal. It has only annoyed and frustrated users on Discord because it does nothing but make it harder to navigate. Whatever marketing majors concocted this horrid update needs to have a book on design principles thrown at them. Because this was two steps back with no steps forward.
