please let me go back to the old UI!!

discord's inconsistent app update rollouts meant i turned off auto updates. i couldn't keep it on, though, and i was DEEPLY unpleasantly caught by surprise by this ui. everything is too responsive and i can't navigate it without opening something else. this isn't an improvement of anything to me. it just feels worse in every direction. why are what my friends doing taking up so much of my message space? if its notifying me of something, why isnt it relegated to notifications? this is gross
