New UI is absolute garbage. CHANGE IT BACK OR LET ME USE THE OLD ONE.
Why did Discord change the UI to what it is now, it's utter garbage and so confusing. I'm not getting notifications for dms even if I'm in the app, I'm not getting any sort of pop up for pings, it's disgusting and the fact that Discord has said they don't plan on giving us the old UI is appalling, nothing was broke so why change it. This “Modernization” is completely unnecessary.

Completely agree. This was unnecessary and not a single person I know likes it. It's very unintuitive and hard to use, and very inaccessible for those of us who have mobility, sight, and other issues.

There were SO many other ways they could've “modernized” if that's really what they wanted to do… Like slap a new coat of paint on it, no one had an issue with how everything else was. Discord is my main platform for communication, and I'm out of the house most of the day. I really don't want to use the app with how it performs now :(

This isn't even modernizing anything; it's a complete ripoff of the layout Facebook messenger uses!
