Guess what? This is about the new UI! Shocking huh?
Look, revert the changes. Thats it, you have no other choice. You cannot save this sunken ship.
The new UI is so incredibly inaccessible, its tedious to go from channel to channel, from server to DMs, or from DM to DM even. You require so much more work to do basic things that you could easily do before. “You just need time to get used to it”. No.
You now cannot start up the app on a saved channel/DM.
You get put a few messages up when you press a DM chat.
You cannot hide friends activity.
You cannot swipe to see members.
You cannot global search in servers.
The preview messages in DMs are shortened and doesnt show anything more than a few words.
The ONE good thing is, when you find it and get it working through more clicks and typing than was needed before, is the search UI in DMs especially for media. Although you cannot see if it is a video or image in the search results.
Bottom line is: stop ruining the app. It was GOOD before, now its literally trash.

And the ONE thing I have been waiting LITERAL YEARS for them to implement – ‘favoriting’ DMs - they couldn't even figure out how to do that efficiently so that it didn't just completely crowd the top of the DM list.4 -
Everyone here cancelling their nitro. I'm here like: why were you even buying nitro in the first place? You do realize that the money you spend on nitro funds discord to make these updates right? lmao
