If Discord doesn’t walk back this mobile UI change, I won't just cancel my Nitro, I might just straight up stop using Discord entirely.

I’ve used this app probably every day for the past 5+ years now. Navigating it is as simple to me as turning my head or wiggling my toes. This new UI is like the equivalent of getting my fingers cut off at the tips. “Oh, but surely you'll get used to it, at least you still have the majority of your fingers," they say. No. Y'know what's better than getting used to having ~30% shorter fingers? NOT GETTING THEM CUT OFF IN THE FIRST PLACE.

There is no reason for this change, and if there is, I haven't seen it. There are all of these new features that are being implemented alongside the UI change, but I've yet to see a reason why these changes could not have been implemented with the old UI.

These changes are simply unacceptable. Fix it.

I'm sure users cancelling Nitro will hurt them, and they'll notice. That's good. But do you think they care if you stop using once you're not paying them? I think they'll be even happier to have less server load. Maybe this is why they implemented this change, to get rid of users.
