New UI is a nightmare. This is like Skype 2.0

Dear LORD. The new ui rolled out while I was on break at work and what. The. Hell.

Swiping to Reply - The Fact I can't swipe and see who's active in group chats/servers in a massive pain in the ass. What's the point of people being able to decorate their profiles if it's going to be a hassle to get to where I can SEE them! I don't WANT to swipe to reply, I want to see who's online in whatever chats and servers I'm in!

Server/DM Tabs - Huge pain in the ass. It was more streamlined when it matched desktop, where I could scroll up to the top of my list of servers and swap to DMs.

Activity at top of DM Tab - Useless clutter. This needs to be its own separate tab. I ALREADY don't like seeing other people's activity. Get rid of this damn it, I don't want to know what games people are playing or what vc they're in!

New Dark mode - WHY in the world is the new dark mode different from the color it is on desktop??? It's headache inducing to look at, AND there isn't even an option to swap it to the desktop's dark mode. Its headache inducing to look at, AND makes it harder to read to boot.

This feels like a move made to please investors, with no input from the user-base at large about what THEY want to see in ui changes. PLEASE just, like, I don't know, do polls or something about potential ui changes instead of dropping shitty, clunky updates like this one on people.
