Discord is sabotaging their own app

What is there to be said anymore? All the recent major updates have been back-to-back disappointments for the community. Dating all the way back to the username change, which I imagine was met with a large volume of complaints and negative feedback—that was the breaking point for a majority of users. But the abysmal UI overhaul with no means of reversion is another thing fully. I understand that Discord’s approach and intention was a more accessible and organized interface, but it achieved the polar opposite. Ranging from the members sidebar being crammed alongside the channel-related section, to a seperate search bar for every channel and a guild-wide one atop the channel list. If anything, that is literally less accessible than the preceding versions.

Backlash is inevitable with such a huge user count, but when you make 360° changes to something so important—with no failsafe reversion options—it’s almost like you’re asking for it.
