Swipe to reply is truly horrid in more than one way

I think we've already established that if swiping to the right has a function of opening a sidebar, then it would follow that swiping to the left should open the sidebar from the other side. You know, like it used to. Which was logical and great! So, the sudden swipe to reply, which is completely useless anyway because you can hold a message to open a menu, was already annoying.

But the fact that I can't even SCROLL the channel without activating the reply all the time is the cherry on the cake. Sorry, I'm not a robot, I don't only move in perfectly straight lines, top to bottom or right to left. I tend to swipe at a slight angle when using my right thumb, and I think this is pretty normal. Swiping to scroll up has become an actual challenge. This is ridiculous.

    The fact that this feature was added before, and everyone hated it so much it had to be removed, and now they just. Added it again? Grinds every single one of my gears.

    If you are on android, you can uninstall discord, go here https://discord-chat-for-gamers.en.uptodown.com/android/versions and get 205.15 stable for the old mobile layout. Dont forget to disable auto-update in the playstore. For iOs this exists too but I dont have a link to it.

    Whomever pushed for these changes needs to admit they made a completely terrible mistake.
