Forced Mobile UI

Previously I was willing to leave my issues with the new UI go mostly unmentioned and avoid using this site because the New Mobile UI was optional. I didn't have to use it, and I was fine with that. But now the New Mobile UI is the only option I have and that is a problem because you (Discord) have taken away my choice. This app used to be incredibly user-friendly on both Desktop and Mobile and now it feels like an inferior and poor man's iPhone. If I wanted a poor man's iPhone, I would buy an iPhone 15. 

My point is this: Discord no longer feels like Discord. It isn't even the “vibes” as you put it in your “Give us Feedback” section of the “Appearance” part of settings. It's the visual appearance, the new editing function (which is annoying because for YEARS on mobile we have swiped to see the server roster and now I'm accidentally editing messages), the poor coloring of the new UI, and above all else the serious lack of consideration for your userbase. 

I said it before when I made a complaint through the Mobile Feedback, so I will reiterate here so that maybe my point gets across to a human being at Discord and not one of your “Discord Monkeys”. If you are so dead set on having a New Mobile UI, keep it Optional and stop trying to force things on the Userbase before you kill your brand. There are other chat apps and websites people can use, and Discord would do well to remember that.
