Bring back legacy photo nesting

Ever since before the big mobile update that everyone hated, you pushed an update that forced photos to be in tiny previews that forces people to click the images to see the full thing.

Everyone I know hates it, but I understand there might be people that prefer it. So I want to suggest a compromise:

In the user settings, can we toggle whether photos appear stacked in the message (like they used to be) with the full image viewable? That way those of us who absolutely abhor what this new format does can go back to what we prefer, while the people who prefer it the way it is can keep it?

(And while we’re at it, can we please get back the old mobile gesture functionality and search? The mobile update really changed too much at once, I still haven’t been able to adjust.)
