Change "App" back to "Bot"
Dear Discord Team and others,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to provide feedback concerning the recent update in which the label "Bot" was changed to “App”. I would like to suggest reverting this change back to "Bot" for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, the term "Bot" is more accurate and intuitive for many users, including myself, who are accustomed to adding "bots" rather than "apps" to our servers. The original terminology aligns better with the functionality these entities provide within the platform.
Secondly, I've noticed that in some languages, the new label "App" translates into a phrase that is considerably longer than its English counterpart.
I believe reverting back to the original "Bot" label would enhance user experience by maintaining consistency and clarity across different languages. I appreciate your consideration of this feedback and look forward to any updates you might decide on this matter.
Thank you for your continuous efforts to improve Discord for its community.
Best regards!

It would also cost some money due to many devs having domains with “bot” in it. The alternative would be that you're gonna pay the billing for a domain change.
Just, change it back.

Yeah, Discord was really known well for its huge directory of bots, and there are probably thousands of ways that thousands of different ‘apps’ were and are referred to as apps (in website domain names, documentations, even the ‘app’s' name, etc.). I don't think there are many people who actually support this change at all.

they already have been working on this new branding with the introduction of "user apps" and now seem to be completing this by changing the tag in chat to "app" as well. Personally, Viet Duc finds it very good
