Feedback on Custom Status Sub-Menu Interfering with Stream Viewing Options
I've encountered a problem where the custom status sub-menu blocks the stream viewing options when hovering over a user’s name. This makes it hard to quickly access the 'Watch Stream' button.
Could we possibly increase the delay before the custom status appears? This small change would make it easier to use the stream viewing options without interference.
Here is an example of the issue:

I agree with this. Move custom status to the other side of our names. Or make it a button somewhere else. Or let us just click on the live banner to watch a stream.
Multiple ways to solve this.
While they are at it, they need to let us set the custom status to just always be off if we'd like. I personally hate having it next to my name at all damn times.1 -
Hello Chis CostcoESS
I understand how the custom status sub-menu interfering with the stream viewing options can be frustrating. Unfortunately, as of my last update, there isn’t a built-in feature in Discord that allows users to adjust the delay before the custom status appears. This is something that would need to be implemented by Discord’s development team. However, you can provide feedback to Discord about this issue. They have a feedback forum where users can submit suggestions for improvements. You can post your suggestion there, and if it gains enough traction from other users, it might be considered for future updates.
In the meantime, you might want to try accessing the ‘Watch Stream’ button through alternative methods, such as right-clicking on the user’s name or accessing the stream from the voice channel’s options, if available.
I hope this helps, and I hope Discord will consider making this quality-of-life improvement in the future!
Best Regards
