Recovering Lost account through mobile phone

What is the point of me using my phone number to connect it with discord if i can't even use it in case of lost account?! I don't have an access to my email address anymore and discord enforces password reset so that's that. How is that possible that no one thought of the possibility that somebody just doesn't have the access to his email address? It's absolutely bizarre. I had to make a new account because of this, when it could be easily solved by just adding phone number recovery functionality.

However, there might be a way to recover your account using your phone number. Here’s a method that could help:

    Launch an incognito browser window to ensure a clean session.
    Navigate to Discord’s login page at www.discord.com/login.
    Enter your phone number and select the option to HealthCare gov log in with your phone number instead of an email address.
    Click on ‘Forgot Password’ to initiate the password reset process.
    Follow the instructions received via SMS to reset your password.
    This process should allow you to regain access to your account without needing access to your email.

    Hello,
    thank you for your response, however this method you provided won't work. After typing SMS code, discord sends password reset link to an email.
