Disable @everyone Notifications Across All Servers
Dear Discord Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to request the addition of a new feature to enhance the user experience on Discord. Specifically, I would like to propose an option that allows users to disable @everyone notifications across all servers by default, unless they have specifically opted to receive them in individual servers.
Currently, @everyone notifications can be quite overwhelming, especially for users who are members of multiple servers. The constant stream of notifications can be distracting and disrupt the user experience. Moreover, for users like myself who are part of numerous servers, manually disabling @everyone notifications server by server is a cumbersome and time-consuming process.
By implementing a feature that allows users to manage these notifications more effectively, Discord can provide a more customized and user-friendly experience.
The proposed feature would include:
- Global @everyone Notification Toggle: An option in the user settings that disables @everyone notifications for all servers by default.
- Server Exceptions: The ability for users to override the global setting on a server basis, allowing them to receive @everyone notifications from selected servers if they choose to.
This functionality would greatly benefit users by giving them more control over their notification settings and reducing unwanted interruptions. I believe that this feature aligns with Discord’s commitment to providing a seamless and enjoyable communication platform for all users.
Thank you for considering my request. I look forward to your response and hope to see this feature implemented in the near future.
Best regards,
