Discord Stands With Cyberbullying & Harassment Despite They Claim Otherwise
Despite Discord's public stance against harassment and bullying, my experience has starkly contrasted with their stated commitments. For over two years, I have faced ongoing harassment within a server that not only continues to operate but appears to thrive under Discord's watch. My numerous attempts to seek help through their support system have been met consistently with automated responses and templated replies, suggesting a reliance on bots rather than meaningful human oversight.
Requests for updates on my reports are dismissed or ignored, highlighting a disconcerting indifference to victim suffering. It's become clear that while Discord may claim to oppose cyberbullying and harassment, their actions—or lack thereof—suggest otherwise. This passive support of toxic behaviors under the guise of neutrality raises serious questions about whose interests are truly being protected.
DISCORD, IF YOU DON'T SOLVE MY PROBLEM, YOU ARE COMPLICIT WITH CYBERBULLYING AND HARASSMENT.
