Create a BACKUP copy of a current Discord Server

Hey Everyone! So this idea would allow you to take a COPY of your current server that you have and copy over to another Discord Server you have already done. This will allow you to make a easy backup of your current Discord. This should not move your members or copy your members over to that Discord. It will be a pure copy of permissions and channels. For Example. Server A has 178 Roles and 120 Channels with those 120 channels all of them have custom permissions. So you go into the server options as the Discord Server Owner and you can fully copy the server to a blank server that is created. It will help in case you need to use a backup or just have something to dev work on before pushing it to the main server. Thank you all for reading this suggestion!

    Someone asked on my server to know if a bot exist to save servers and duplicate them

    сделайте копирование и хранение данных, хотя бы временные с ограничением, чтоб сильно не перезагружать свои сервера, но считаю необходимым иметь такую функцию

    Я столкнулся с ситуацией краша сервера. Просто хакер создал бота для краша и кинул его на мой сервер.
    Резервная копия очень поможет нам всем в таких случаях я надеюсь что Дискорд поддержит эту идею.

    Need this feature.  Had a disgruntled mod nuke our entire server.  Had to be recreated from scratch.  Backup and export\import of server settings (channels, roles, etc.) is crucial.

    Not just server settings/roles but i think just the server state including chat logs is fairly important. major actions such as deleting a channel or even the server should be reversible perhaps to the a 24hr backup. While it may not be a feature, I'd be greatly comforted if I knew I could have an undo/revert feature or could message a discord mod to revert it for me. I also think offline backup export and importing servers is a great alternative.

    A friend just lost his discord over possibly a rogue bot (they think it was carlbot got admin rights and went crazy or whatever happen idk) who knows but backups need to happen!

    Yes! Me and my friend are having a problem with converting our server into a totally different thing and we are being forced to copy paste each message to save our character’s adventures before we delete the chats. A backup server would be AMAZING right about now. Please make this a thing!!!!

    As this is probably not going to be added, I can suggest you all to use server-templates to copy your channel & role structure. You can enable the template in the server settings.
    If this is not what you need, you can take a look at the bot "Xenon". It can create backups and copy your server.

    Xenon can also save and transfer messages (chatlog / history) depending on your tier.

    Hello. Maybe below was the idea that I wanted to voice, or maybe not. Why don't you add backup copies of your information to restore EVERYTHING that was on the server. Why do you need it? For example, people can accidentally delete a channel and the information lying in it, or a server can be hacked, deleting everything that is on it. Then a person will be able to restore everything that was through the settings without losing anything. This can be done as a temporary function. That is, it will be limited by the time allotted to the person for recovery and after which this function will be unavailable
