Server Organisation/Server Folders

Hey all! I noticed that there's a decent amount of requests for some type of server folders/organisation so I put together some concepts that I think would work great with Discord. :) Check them out: http://imgur.com/a/FQZLO

    I agree. This really needs to be a thing that happens. I know I would use it! Would allow me to categorize my groups. Also, why not add in a feature to have different icons for different groups?

    Yes please. I'd also wouldn't mind for the server tab to be wider if there's folders present, perhaps showing legible server icons of the servers inside

    This definitely needs to happen. Collections &/or folders would be excellent. They could also add a feature to double to size of the server module so we could have a larger collection and more management options. 
    One thing I think that also needs to be implemented is being able to Pin certain servers at the top.

    Honestly what more is it going to take for this to happen? Why are the devs so quiet as to not even acknowledge we've been seen and that hopefully something is happening? Do we need to camp outside their offices? Set fire in their hallway? I'm honestly flabbergasted that a company as big and generally transparent is so quiet on this one.

    As someone who is in a bunch of servers for different things like friend servers, emote servers, bot servers ect ect this is a super good idea and I back it 100%!!
     My personal favourite is 'collections' followed by 'folders' with the quick search bar! Perhaps allow users to use emojis for the categories on the collections, folders or whichever similar idea?  c:

      (Just don't make this only for Nitro users if it's added D': )

    This is a big problem, especially since discord uses big round images instead of lines of text (takes up more space per server, and makes it difficult to know which image goes to which server, particularly when those images can change around by the server manager.)

    I have coding discords that I keep stacked next to each other, I have discords for various games/guilds, which I try to keep grouped, but whenever I add a new server, it's difficult to know which part of the "stack" to drop it in. A simple method of folder organization is definitely needed, preferably with a customizable text label.

    i work around this by making personal empty servers with specific initials to serve as category markers lol. would love to see this become official

    If not, how about simply horizontal servers list at the top and allow multiple rows, instead of a vertical list on the left, especially since everyone has Widescreen monitors now, so we have more horizontal space than vertical space, so people who would rather have quicker server switching access at the expense of height, could do so.

    Nice. This would be very useful. But those branch servers. Do we still have to make them seperately and then all it on into the main server, or do we make it OFF of the main server?

    Thank you for the comment. Naturally you’d be able to put any discord in the folder of any discord. So by that logic you’d have separate discord servers which you’d be able to put in the branch of one discord as shown in the picture. Hope that’s more clear.

    @Dan Can we get some information on this? This has been a request for way longer than 6 months and is one of the top 10 requested items. It would be a great feature to add!

    I'd absolutely take these as a Nitro feature and this would be a reason to KEEP Nitro instead of just playing with it from time to time (the only other compelling Nitro feature for me is the emotes, and it's just not enough).  Another alternative/additional suggestion is something like the "unexpanded" channel groups where only the servers with new messages show unless expanded.

    I was just thinking of this feature! I have so many servers that I don't wanna leave, but I want to organize. I would love if this was added.
