Audio damping on screen sharing.

I'm trying to stream a game for my friend on call. 
The problem we are having is that whenever I speak or just make a bit of noise, that is being picked up by my mic, the audio of whatever is being streamed is lessened to the point that it's irritating and unpleasant to listen in.
There should be an option to turn this off or lessen the effect of this function.
