Cross Channel Voice Communication
If you could enable users to communicate trough different channels. This feature would help a lot of FPS games where you play in squads or platoons and squad leader could communicate to squad leader in other channel for better co-organization.
If there is a two squads in one channel or more things get so difficult and a lot of noise is generated because there are a lot of people communicating to each other.
Perfect situation would be if one user would be able to communicate to other set user in another channel or every user to user, not sure what is easier to achieve in development?
I am sure a lot of Squad, Arma, Battlefield etc. players would highly appreciate this feature in Discord.

I think if we don't make ourselves heard in some other way they will never lift a finger.

This is not a text chat feature

Please. This will do nothing but benefit your platform and allow more communities to move over to discord which in turn can expand sales from nitro since more users etc, either way, this feature will be extremely beneficial to a lot of communities that host large events. I'm part of communities that pull in about 100-200+ people per week and we struggle massively within your platform since we have a hard time with communication amongst group leaders, please implement this feature even if it's only role-based it would be a literal game-changer for your platform.

Bump, give us cross channel communication!

Can someone important address this? It seems like a pretty simple feature that would attract a lot of people.

This is absolutely essential, this is the #1 thing we're missing from Teamspeak and is essential for large parties that need to be split down into seperate channels like squads etc.
2 -
We need this as well.
We're a whole guild of 100 people, split into teams of 12.
Having this enables the team communication while still able to hear the guild commanders voice0 -
Please add this...

Has this ever been officially mentioned?? This is such an important feature for the organization I am in, with 5000 people we are having trouble using the Voice while being split into teams...
We are using additional programs to achieve this. It would be awesome to be able to only use Discord!1 -
How is this not a feature yet? This is something large communities, guilds, and friends can use playing multiple games. This would be useful in management or work groups for companies that swapped to telework. Please upvote this

How can Guilded have this feature ahead of Discord?!?

Still waiting for this to be possible. Used this all the time when I was on Teamspeak. Would love to be able to go on multiple voice channels as well on Discord.

Only reason we have both, would love this feature. Please add!

Hey guys we should make a second post in the voice chat section to get more visibility. After that nonstop posts until someone responds because this has been missing for years and no one has addressed us yet.

Pls add this ;D

Still not a feature after 3 years eh. Well, guess we'll have to use guilded instead! If you're here looking for this feature, just get guilded instead I guess...

Teamspeak will die off if Discord adds this.

Why has this not been implemented yet?

Also, why can't we create text channels that are also VC?

Any feedback? Are the votes sufficient enough to start working to release such function?
This would mean that my team and I will be able to use Discord full-time.

Hyped, I doubt it, this thread keeps on going for 3 years and nothing ever changed.

this topic in wrong category.
This is TEXT CHAT category. Even moderators don't read this, you want actions from devs?
