Unable to search for the term "C++"

When I tried to search for "C++" using the macOS desktop, the results returned also included "C" or anything that started with the letter C. This makes it difficult to find messages related to the "C++" programming language. I've tried the following strings to no avail:

  • "C++"
  • C\+\+
  • C[++]
  • C\[\+\+\]
  • C["++"]
