    No, because there's sometimes that you don't wanna get DM'ed, but you can turn off your DMs for everyone but friends and sometimes I really don't want anyone to DM me.

    half the time people don’t give a shit if you have DnD on or not so it would be really nice to be able to disable them for a period of time

    i have do not disturb on but it don’t turn off dms

    User settings >> Privacy and safety >> Allow direct messages from server members shall be off.

    I agree with this because I really don't like it when my friends spam me and I can't just block them since they are my friend ya'know? So like i kinda want to jsut turn them off

    Hey, why would you want this? Like Moonlight said, does that not defeat the whole point of having friends on discord?

    Uhh. You could always use the Do Not Disturb / Offline satus. Closing Discord would also have the same effect. If your friends spam you that much you should just remove them or confront them. I rarely get irrelevant messages from friends and only really important ones when I'm offline.

    Hey if anyone has any actual answers that would be helpful because tmr is a huge cyber attack thing (supposedly) and I just wanted to close my dms because there are going to be people sending gore, racial slurs, etc and there’s also ip grabbers and doxxers so everyone just try to stay safe it’s on all social media platforms btw
