Can Discord show new/tab windows ala Skype when a new DM is received?

Or minimzed Discord.exe flash in taskbar?

At the very least a tray popup?

  Discord does literally everything you mentioned here on Win 7. I'd recommend contacting support https://dis.gd/contact and checking your notification settings

  Desktop notification works properly for me on Windows 7. My univ library is filled with Windows 7 desktops, and whenever I use Discord there, I always receive desktop notifications. Please check your notification settings and enable the necessary options.
