Hide video call in group chat

I want to be able to hide other people's webcams in a group chat. Currently that's not possible. Video calls in the background seem to slow down my pc while gaming.

  2 months later and this hasn't gained any real attention. You'd think more people with low end pcs would have asked for this :/
