Mobile Mic Input

Hi! I have been using discord for quite some time now and have gotten the app recently when I talk with the mic on my phone nothing plugged into the jack everything works fine buy when I plug in earbuds (with no mic attatched) nothing works and I cannot use my phone mic so is there anything I can do or what I'm lost :P
