Notification popup area unclickable/unresponsive. Infuriating bug.

This is a suuuuper irritating bug that's been here for a long time for a lot of users. I've seen posts in other places about this, and I know all my friends has the same issue and have had it for a long time. I'm really surprised it has not been solved yet, and I've reached my limit now. It really need to be fixed. I can't understand how it can go unchanged for so long.

The thing I'm talking about is the bug where a big area above a desktop notification get unclickable. Whenever a notification is visible, there is a big predetermined area that is blocking all interactions with what's behind it, even though it's invisible. It's truly infuriating, especially when multiple notifications come in a row and stops me from working properly at many times.

Why is it a fixed area!? Why is it blocking all mouse interactions? It's just really really stupid. Why make a window larger than you actually use? Rescaling a window in code is super easy, so I don't understand waht's up with this. Also, some kind of grouping of messages, or a setting for enabling grouping would be very much appreciated, but that is another topic and something that is more work and an actual feature. This notification bug thing is just a straight up horrible bug. Right now I even feel like uninstalling the whole app because it's become that infuriating. This needs to be fixed. If the Discord team don't have time, just give me source code access and I'll find the code and fix it in an afternoon.

Sorry, maybe I am too irritated for such small thing right now, but it started out with just frustration enough to want to write a post... but then I did some searching and found surprisingly little real info about it and mostly just people giving up and disabling the notification all together, which was a bit annoying, but understandable. Then I tried to log in here to write this, but for some reason it always logs me in on the same wrong account over and over, and I can't change account. I signed out, and it worked, but when I press sign in I just automatically sign in on this account. No way to select anything. I tried deleting my cookies and history and password stuff and all ,but no effect. That is also really irritating, but also feel very insecure... I can't help but to lose a bit of faith in this app now...
