System freezes while discord performs actions.

Subject, like notification, or authentification no other action can be done. My mouse can move, but can NOT click on anything else. Even when I'm typing, in discord to send a message, discord disables my typing while I get a notification that someone wrote something somewhere else. This needs to be remedied "NOW!"
