Recording videos from android app to help with file size limits

I was hoping that there could be a feature in the discord app for android that you can record a video from the app itself to send. When i try to take a video using my phone camera, i can only record 5 seconds before surpassing 8 MB file limit... I was wondering if there could be a feature in the near future to allow users to record video from the android app up to 1 min, and the app automatically adjusts so the video is still high quality, yet is under 8 MB? My friend who uses IOS posted a video aparently using the discords built in video recorder, and it was 50 seconds long and only 4 MB! I would love this feature as it would help me save data, yet letting my friends see the cool things im doing or saw along my travels!

    This would be interesting to see. Hopefully the Discord app can do this in the future. I think it would also help to optimise the upload process as well.
