Screenshare lag

I really enjoy using Discord. I prefer using Discord over texting to be completely honest. As a gamer, I value being able to talk with my friends in colossal servers and group calls. Sometimes in those group calls, we like to share our screens and show what we are doing. I understand that projecting one user's screen to another is going to be an intensive task for the projector's PC. But the lag that I experience is unreal. I have an 8th generation i7 and experience very few issues with other games. I have hardware acceleration disabled but I still can expect to experience freezing and half the FPS I would normally have if I wasn't screen sharing. Another thing I enjoy about Discord is that if you reach out to the team, there is a very real chance that your voice may be heard. Which is why I'm posting this. Is there anyway to decrease screen share lag? And if not, is that something that you guys can maybe work on?
