Whitelisted Discord Servers
OK QUICK NOTE:
i don't normally post here but just scrolling through discord the idea for this topic just plopped right onto my head so
THE IDEA
Maybe you have a discord server that you want specific people to join within a community but don't want other people to join- "uhh you can just send links to people you dumb IDIOT" well you can but think about this:
Let's say you run a community on a forum but you want specific people to join like a group of friends that don't talk to each other on discord. (somehow)
so you create the discord server, go to a whitelist option and write the names#tags on a text section and then send the link out onto the forums. The friends will go in the discord server but other people on the forum won't join as they aren't whitelisted.
but IDIOT if they aren't talking through discord how would they know the names and tags of each other??
Maybe someone tries to join the group but isn't whitelisted. He can choose an option to send a message to the owner and the owner would be sent a message by Clyde or any other bot and there would send a prompt to either allow him and add him into the whitelist OR not allow him to access the server and not give him the option to not message you. (The last part is there so the guy won't just spam you with messages to be whitelisted)
some idea i thought that the whitelist would be useful for
You have a server and it's an open one. people join from everywhere just having a jolly time! Then a bunch of bots and spammers come and ruin the server. You can just add a whitelist and write the names of the people who aren't bots and within moments *PLOP* the bots and they're messages disappear. BEFORE YOU TELL ME HOw r U GOnnA TAKe all names on the DiScOrD serVER if THE SERvER IS HUGE???/?
Easy. Add an option to white list all members who have been on the server for the past 24 hours. if staff is quick enough he can remove every single one with a button. then unwhitelist the server.
This was just an idea i thought of. probably stupid but whatever it sounded cool in my head

The problem: If for example 100 peoples join then It'll be hard to kick them all...

Or just create an invite give it to certain people and kick anyone who isn't allowed. That's a lot simpler and better for each party. To me this suggestion seems kinda stupid, but I'm sure some bots can do this.
