Mouse Button 4 should not take the user back to the Discord home page

After the latest update, Discord has begun taking the user to the Home page after mouse button 4 is pressed. Mouse button 4 is often interpreted as 'Back' (and as such, takes the user back a page in a web browser) but it has never done that in Discord until now.

 

Many people use mouse button 4 as their push to talk key and as such, are taken away from a view of their current server and are forced to Home. This can be very annoying if you have Discord open on an extra monitor with it in focus. 

 

 

Please revert this change.

    I agree, this is an awful change and needs to be reverted right away, all my friends and I use MB3/4 for ptt and this is so annoying when we are posting memes and trying to talk about them.

    for every one person that posts, there are 1.5 billion that are not posting, the whole world does not want this. no mouse button should take you out of your discord channel to ....... discord front page....

    Yeah a revert or option to turn it off would be nice. It's made using PTT pretty obnoxious for me.

    I use it for PTT and this makes things so much more inconveniant. at least give us the option to toggle it off.

    This really grinds my gears, whats more - a lot of my friends are using MB3 or MB4 buttons as push to talk option.
    Please fix this as soon as possible or add some option to turn this off.

    It's really annoying since I use those buttons to chat. I hope they change it, or allow us to rebind that feature. Otherwise it become too frustrating to use the app.

    Was unaware of this until suddenly my channels were flipping while my cursor was aimed at the window while talking. Mouse forward and backward now do those respective functions if the mouse is inside the discord UI.

     

    Very annoying as 'forward' has been my push-to-talk keybind for over 10 years.

    Yes please revert this. Not sure why every time I update this app, some new obnoxious feature that nobody asked for was added.
