Notification Timer
I would like to have the option to have a timer for a minimum amount of time between messages for a notification to be made.

desperate for this to be implemented. the default spot for notifications to pop up blocks so many things I'm doing and leads me to mute so many servers I'd rather not. would also LOVE an option/general feature similar to the AWESOME one mobile seems to have where notifications stop popping up for a channel after you stop checking the channel for a certain number of notifications... hope that made sense

Yep, I want this as well.
I'd like options like:
The way it is now, notification every message
Notification of new message, another notification of a new message if you've opened the channel and closed it
Notification of new message, another notification of another new message if a certain time runs out.2 -
Still not implemented :(

I'd like to know when there are new messages in a server, I would not like to know every 5 seconds that two people are having a conversation in that server. I mute servers I like because I get too many notifications and then I ignore them because they're muted.

Yes.
There are some channels which i am interested in and want to receive notifications about.
But sometimes people in there get lost in longer discussions I'm don't participate in and I don't want to every single message as a notification, just after this particular discussion is finished again

1. Static Send Button: I find it frustrating when I accidentally click on the emoji button instead of the send button on Discord because the animated/transitional send button is slow and can't keep up with me and appeas only when i type message. To make things easier, an option should be available to enable a static send button on Discord.
2. Swipe to Open Drawer: In previous versions of Discord, I could open the drawer by swiping from the edge of the screen, but now I can open it from anywhere on the screen, which is inconvenient. To make things easier, an option should be available to open the drawer only by swiping from the edge of the screen.
3. Send Message with Enter Key: On the Android Discord app, I am unable to send messages using the "Enter" key on my virtual keyboard, and external keyboard functions are not fully supported. To make things easier, an option should be available to send messages using the "Enter" key on the virtual keyboard. Moreover, Discord should support external keyboard functions on the Android app.
4. Mute/Block Certain Words: Sometimes, I receive messages on Discord that start with or contain certain words that I find annoying or offensive. To make things easier, an option should be available to mute or block messages that start with certain words or contain certain words.
5. In-App Notification: When I receive a notification on Discord, I am prompted to "tap to view" the message, which can be frustrating. Instead, the first few words of the message should be displayed in the notification. Additionally, the countdown bar that appears with the notification should be removed.
6. Block Messages from Bot: Sometimes, even if I block another user on Discord, I still receive messages from their bot. To make things easier, the messages of a botbeing used by a person whom I have blocked should also be blocked.
6. Organising servers: Mnaging a large number of servers on Discord can be a challenging task, especially when they're all listed in a single column. It would be a great addition to have a separate window dedicated to organizing our servers, complete with sorting options based on server activity, one's individual activity, total number of members and total number of online members. Additionally, the ability to create nested folders would further enhance organization, allowing users to group related servers together. With these features, managing multiple servers would become a much more streamlined and efficient process.
Overall, while not everyone may be dissatisfied with the aforementioned issues on Discord, it would be helpful to have the option to enable or these features to make the app more user-friendly for those who are. This would allow users to customize the app according to their own preferences, and would also help to avoid alienating any users who may prefer the current features.
