Destiny 2 lag

I need answers and i cant seem to find any but when i play Destiny 2, the voice chat lags, But only when im doing group content. I could have the game minimized and chat no problem. I can be in Orbit and chat with the fireteam awaiting on the next activity. I only get this problem when im at the tower amongst other people, or even doing strikes with the fireteam im with.. and or pvp content. And its only when i play this game.
