I suggest to make a discord link for every discord user like Discord servers ! for example: **discord.user**/**:userID** and when someone clicks that link it shows a modal with a info about the user with ability to add him as a friend and other more actions to the user like the user's playing status/presence, etc...

    due to the way discord can have multiple usernames (with discriminators) of the same name, this really needs to be a thing so that people can avoid falling victim to imposter scams.

    It boggles the mind why this is not a thing. My Discord profile links to my Twitch profile that is connected with it but the other way around is not possible because there is no profile URL. Makes no sense.

    Discord is moving away for catering mostly to gamers. If you really want to do that there is a few basics it needs to do. Permanent unambiguous user profile links are a must because user names are not unique and the links are needed to connect with and dm others who don't go to the same discord servers.

    I Upvoted this. This is a really great idea and I'm honestly surprised Discord doesn't have this yet. This would make it so much smoother for adding friends and finding other useful social links in their profile.
