The  emoji is different on desktop than it is on mobile, and this seriously bugs me. The reason this irks me so is because even very subtle changes in the appearance of an emoji will change the specific emotion that emoji conveys. And discord is supposed to be cross-platform, so you could send an emoji to someone using a different platform and inadvertently send them a very different signal. Alright, the differences in the  emoji are somewhat subtle -- the one in the mobile version has more squinted eyes and is crying -- but it still annoys me. We already have to deal with this ridiculousness with Samsung vs Apple and their wildly different emojis, but this is on the same app. I really do think this should be fixed. I personally prefer the less exaggerated desktop version, but more important to me is accuracy over anything. Emojis should be ubiquitous, especially on the same app.
