Hover controls when discord is visible in background

A lot of the time I'm working on something in Chrome with Discord open behind Chrome, just peeking out enough so I can see the chat. When someone says something, I get a notification and Discord pops up in the taskbar until I click Mark as Read in the chat window. But when I click that, Discord pops into the foreground like most apps do, and I have to click back to Chrome to keep doing what I was doing.

Could the Mark as Read button (in the blue banner) have functionality such that when you hover over it, it acts like you've clicked it after a second or so and dismissed notifications? That way I don't have to adjust my windows as often.

Pros:

- I don't have to adjust my windows as often

- Cool way to dismiss notifications without losing focus of your stuff

Cons:

- Goes against normal UI design

- New users have no way of discovering it.
