'popping' newly opened chat on top

So, what i basically want to suggest is that whenever you open a chat with someone who is in 'bottom' on direct messages list, it will get you all the down and to be honest it's kinda annoying to go back up everytime. What i'm trying to say is to get the freshly opened chat all the way to top as it normally would when you get a message instead of going all the way down. I hope you got my point.
