Info and or loading message if cached channel chat is not yet checked for updates on server

The mobile client now has a caching function which is very cool. But sometimes, on slower connections, it‘s not very clear if the last message is really the last message. So you keep waiting 5-10 seconds every time. How about a small info text or loading indicator right above the textinputfields, that says „Checking for new messages on server...“ Or similiar
