Autoplay of GIFs issues

I'm using Discord Mobile on an iOS device, and one issue I’ve found with the most recent feature of being able to toggle "Autoplay GIFs" is that, unless I’ve enabled "Sync Across Clients" for Text and Images settings, I can't turn it off. If I try to disable it, it switches right back on before I even close out of the settings.
