+1 to this... I am missing out on things that I need to be notified because I have discord on 2 different computers. Between the two of them they are always on and the only way I can get notification on my phone is to only use discord on the PC when I am actively needing to use the voice chat feature. Please add a way to get alerts on ALL devices, not just the non idle ones.

i just cant believe this still has not been implemented after so many years of waiting and requests. Surely it can't be that hard to figure out.. has anyone from Discord support team ever commented on this?

I have discord on so many devices.. home PC, work PC, and 3 mobile devices. If all the PC apps are closed, then I will get notification on all of my mobile devices. But of course, as we all know, if you have one PC with the app open, no mobile device will receive a notification. On the contrary, if I receive an email while Gmail is open in my PC web browser, I get an alert on PC and alkso get the same thing on mobile. So clearly it is possible, and I'm sure there are many other apps/programs that deliver notifications across all devices.. Discord, for all the great things theyve done over the years, still fails to address this. It's perplexing

Please fix/implement this. It is LONG overdue

Once again resurrecting an age old thread to demand discord implement this: lack of simultaneous notifications isn’t a boon, it’s a curse.

    this is so annoying :)

setting afk to 1min doesn't work either. Wish we had the option to just recieve notifications like normal apps

sammyred8 yes, not having simultaneous notifications is a curse. And I dont mind necroposting in these circumstances.

The thing is, it doesn't have to be one way or the other.. add an option that can be enabled or disabled depending on your preference. This truly can't be that hard to accomplish

I don't get how this gets ignored for 3 years !?!  Not even a "Hey, this is the reason why we have not implemented this yet..."

2021 and an option still hasn't been implemented and I can't even understand why it was made to override phone-notifs in the first place. I mean what app works this way? From the days of Skype to FB messenger I've never seen a phone app not get notifications just because the desktop version was open.

I use discord on my PC to voice when I'm in game but there are some times I just have it in the background or I don't want to have to pull it over what I'm doing (game, movie, drawing, etc) if I can just text from my phone and put it down again.

And plus, what... every time I walk away from my computer should I log out of discord just to make sure I get notifications on my phone? How does this make any sense?

Most of the reason I have it open on desktop these days is because it's easier to moderate, manage my bots and do admin stuff in my server. But if I'm fullscreen in game or watching a movie OF COURSE I don't want to pull up an overlay or minimize or pull discord over what I'm doing. I want to pick up my phone, respond and put it back down. Why is it so hard to at least toggle an option to get phone notifications while desktop is open......

3 years people have been complaining about a VERY EASY THING TO CHANGE!! Making it a toggle instead of forced would be so simple for them, they make bigger updates constantly. It makes me so god damn mad when I don’t get notifications on my pc because when I open my phone, I don’t even get a notification badge! I can’t even tell where I got the damn notifications unless I’m on my computer! That is outrageous!

+1. If I accidentally leave discord running on the computer, I don't get notifications on my mobile device. This is a pretty poor experience and sad to see this has been open so long.

My friend has a few devices, and he seems to only get notified on one at a time, usually when he doesn't have access to it. Please make this an option, discord <3

To receive almost all notification on my phone I had to fully uninstall discord from my mac, but event then there is 1 minute gap between my last activity on phone and new notifications...

I’ve quadruple checked all settings in every channel, every server, in the app, and in the iOS. I never get notifications from Discord app on my iPhone. I only get them on my laptop web browser when I have the web app open there. Why do I never get iOS Discord notifications?

All I can really add to this is a "what the hell"

When I walk away from my computer, I leave Discord running 24/7. I literally get zero notifications on my phone because of this. I always thought it was a bug but it seems Discord doesn't give the option to send to mobile unless you shut you PC down.
