Catagorizing direct messages

Has anyone ever added a bunch of random people but can't remember where they're from or why they're in your friends list in the first place? Yes? No? Well i have. And i'd love it if i could catagorize my dms just like i can catagorize channels. Why not just add them to a group you might ask? Well because that's annoying for everyone who's in it, being added out of the blue, notifications, and they can leave anytime. I think this is the best way to organize your friends, and without having to be a neusance.
